Lima Express (3 days /2 nights)
Day 1 Lima.
Arrival and Reception at the airport transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon enjoy the city. This excursion provides a perfect combination (pre- Hispanic era, colonial period and Modern Lima), that enables
the visitor to get acquainted with Lima’s complete history. Starting at the Love Park in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, and then heading to the Huaca Pucllana, a magnificent ceremonial and administrative center of Lima Culture, built in the 4th century AD, and considered by the Incas as ñaupallaqta, a “sacred village”. Later we will go to San Isidro, financial center of the city to visit de Huaca Huallamarca, ancient pre-Incan shrine. During this tour you will visit many points of interest such as the Main Square (Plaza Mayor) founded in 1535 by Francisco Pizarro, conqueror of Peru, the
Government Palace, the City Hall, the Cathedral and the House of El Oidor. You will see other colonial architectural jewels, such as Torre Tagle Palace, a beautiful mansion dating back to the 18th century. We continue the tour with a visit to San Francisco Convent and its catacombs. The construction of San Francisco church was consecrated in 1673. It has stood up to numerous earthquakes, and has a majestic stone facade and an interior with admirably carved choir seats in Nicaraguan cedar, vaults and columns decorated with plastered Moorish style reliefs. The arcades in the convent’s cloister (16th century) are decorated with Seville tiles. In the beautiful chapter house there is a collection of paintings of the apostles. The underground galleries and catacombs were discovered in 1951 and are gloomy and impressive, containing the bones and skulls of some 70,000 people buried there when it was the town cemetery during the time of the Viceroys.
Afterwards, return to the hotel.
DAY 2 Lima.
Day at leisure to take some optional tour. At evening you can enjoy Lima by Night (optional) with two
alternatives: with Magic Water Circuit. It is the greatest show of fountains and lights in Latin America. It is an amazing show of cybernetic and interactive ornamental fountains where there is a perfect communion of water, light, music and images or enjoying a unique evening visiting the most
prestigious museum in the city. We will climb the lit pre- Columbian pyramid where the Larco Museum is built, and discover the treasures of ancient Peru while we walk along its halls and galleries. At the end, we will be able to enjoy an exquisite dinner in a magical and cozy atmosphere with a view to the beautiful gardens.
DAY 3 Lima.
Transfer to the airport to take the scheduled flight.
Inca Marvelous (6 days /5 nights)
Day 1 Lima.
Arrival in Lima and welcoming reception. In the afternoon we will have a tour through Lima’s streets and
plazas. Starting at the Love Park in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, and then heading to the Huaca Pucllana, ceremonial center of the Lima culture. Later we will go to San Isidro, financial center of the city to visit de Huaca Huallamarca, ancient pre-Incan shrine. After this, we go on to
the Main Square where the Government Palace and the Town Hall are located. We will visit the Cathedral and explore the San Francisco convent, built in the seventeenth century, to discover the mystery of its catacombs. Stay in Lima.
DAY 2 Cusco.
Transfer to the airport and flight to Cusco. On arrival, welcoming reception and transfer to hotel. In the
afternoon the Imperial Cusco city tour starts at the Main Square to visit the Cathedral and its valuable and beautiful colonial masterpieces such as The Cross which arrived along with the first conquistadores. Then it is time to visit the Korikancha temple, Inti God shrine, on which the Santo Domingo church was built. According to the chronicles, this temple was completely covered in gold in Inca times. After this we will visit the Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park to explore Q’enqo, the Puma shrine, and see the sacrificial altar embedded inside a rock cave; Tambomachay and its sacred fountains of life; Puca Pucará viewpoint and watchtower which guarded the city entrance and Sacsayhuaman, an impressive fortress of colossal dimensions with rocks that are up to 4 meters tall and surrounded by beautiful views blending together perfectly. Stay at Cusco.
DAY 3 Sacred Valley.
The Sacred Valley of the Incas is waiting for you. On the way we will stop at Awanacancha, small complex to admire Andean camelids such as alpacas and llamas and learn from local inhabitants about traditional dyeing and knitting techniques. Later we will explore the Pisac Market with enough free
time to go around and buy handcrafts and if you feel like tasting something traditional, stop by the wood ovens for a delicious empanada or a piece of bread.. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, our tour continues to Ollantaytambo, a small town full of local color and inhabited since Inca times in which we will visit the main temple used as a fortress during the Inca resistance. Breathtaking views for amazing pictures. Stay at the Sacred Valley.
DAY 4 Cusco/Machu
A train trip away to see one of the Seven Wonders of the World. We arrive at the Aguas Calientes station
where our staff will assist us on boarding the bus to go up the winding road to Machu Picchu, amid a spectacular view of the Urubamba River and its canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will astonish us with its terraces, ceremonial shrines, steps and urban areas. Energy is all around us. After a guided visit, we will have time to explore the fortress and have lunch at one of the restaurants
in the area. Overnight stay at one of the hotels in Aguas Calientes or Machu Picchu.
DAY 5 Machu Picchu / Cusco.
Free morning. Do as you please with your free time: enjoy once more the energy and mystique offered by the fortress or do some hiking like going up Intipunku or Door of the Sun, entrance to Machu Picchu coming from the Inca Trail or climb the Huayna Picchu, mountain overlooking Machu Picchu and home to the temple of the Moon. At the arranged time, we will return to Cusco by bus and will be transferred to our hotel. Overnight stay at Cusco.
DAY 6 Cusco/Lima.
In due ime transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight.
The Lines of Nazca(3 days /2 nights)
DAY 1 Lima / Nazca.
Transfer to the bus station to depart to Nazca. Arrival and transfer to hotel.
DAY 2 Nazca / Paracas.
In the morning we will then go to the local airfield to fly over the Nazca lines, huge drawing that can only be seen from the sky and which represent several insects and animals like a monkey, hummingbird,
condor or a spider. The origins are unknown, while many think it is a big astronomic calendar. In the afternoon we will get on the bus to Paracas bay. Overnight stay at Paracas.
DAY 3 Paracas / Lima.
Early in the morning we will embark on a boat tour to the Ballesta Islands. The “Chandelier” a giant figure marked in the sand in the style of the Nazca lines can also be seen on our way to the islands. On the islands you will be able to observe sea lions, pelicans, Humboldt penguins and other sea birds.
In the afternoon, departure bus to Lima and hotel transfer. Stay at Lima.
DAY 4 Lima.
Transfer to the airport and flight to Lima.
Linking the Inca Trails(3 days /2 nights)
DAY 1 La Paz.
Arrival in La Paz and transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon to acclimatize.
DAY 2 La Paz.
In the afternoon it is time for our city tour which begins in the typical Witches’ Market, and the most
important attraction of the city. To end our tour we will visit the spectacular Valley of the Moon.
DAY 3 La Paz / Huatajata.
In the morning visit to the Tiahuanaco Archaeological Complex. Box lunch. Then it is time to go to
Huatajata. We will visit an ecovillage for a cultural experience with the locals’ .In the afternoon we will meet with Tata Benjo who will read the future displayed in the sacred coca leaves. Dinner. .
DAY 4 Huatajata / Copacabana / Puno.
We will board a hydrofoil to the Island of the Moon and visit to the Sun Virgins Temple sacrifice. Our tour continues in the Island of the Sun. Lunch. Next destination: Copacabana, to visit the Morena Virgin (dark
skinned virgin) and the local market. Then it is time to go to Puno by land. Arrival in Puno and transfer to the hotel.
DAY 5 Puno.
Visit to the Uros’ handmade islands and their inhabitants living on these floating islands. In the afternoon we will visit the pre-Inca cemetery of the Hatun Colla. A great trip to see the funerary towers or Chullpas reaching up to six meters high.
DAY 6 Puno / Cusco
Departure on a tour bus to Cusco. We will arrive in Cusco at the end of the afternoon. Pre tour. After day 6 continue from day 2 of the Itinerary Inca Marvelous. The first night in Lima goes to the end of the itinerary.
